Growler: Poured a dark copper color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt notes with some earthy bitter hops notes. Taste is a mix of dry caramel malt notes with some bitter earthy hops. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not a big fan of caramel malt based IPA but still well done.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light dry roasted malt with some nice coffee notes with vanilla notes. Taste is a great mix of black chocolate notes with some vanilla and light coffee notes. Finish is tad too dry and slightly astringent with very little residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable though lacking some minor fine-tuning.

Growler: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and grapefruit notes with nice floral undertones. Taste is a solid mix of fresh grassy hops with nice citrusy and grapefruit notes with light bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. I actually prefer this beer than its bigger bang cousin. Hoppy notes are upfront without any alcohol of residual sugar.

Growler: Poured a bright hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of resinous hops with some grapefruit notes and light cereal notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also a mix of resinous hops with some grapefruit and tropical fruit notes with light rubbery notes in the aftertaste. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very intertying mix of hops but there are faint rubbery notes which somewhat bothered me.

Thanks to AleRider78 for sharing this one, March 27th, 2015. Pours a dark syrupy brown colour with a small mocha head and minimal lacing. Coffee aromas over roasted malts. After breathing, darker fruits appear (dates, raisins). Silky smooth mouthfeel with a little stickiness in the finish. The coffee is a little better hidden in the taste, with roasted malts and notes of sweet dark fruits. Well-blended hops giving some nice bitterness. Quite a smooth Imperial Stout collaboration with a great local coffee roaster.

Bottle: Poured a clear bright light golden color ale with a small bubbly head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of light funky notes with hints of peach is OK. Taste is a weird mix of subtle peach notes and light tart and funky notes with some off-flavour notes. Body is light with low carbonation. This one didn’t really work with me. Peach and funk flavours are not dominant enough and it just lacks some complexity.
