Cask, GBBF 2013, one-third pint. Amber coloured body, spotty lacing to the glassware. Floral hoppy nose with earthy malts beneath. Malt-fruity flavours. Malt bitter ending. Medium to thin bodied. Accepted (London Olympia 15.08.2013).

Cask at Thomsonโs. Pours golden yellow with good white head. Merest touch of carbonation. Aromas of bready malt and spicey hops. Some honey on the taste, but good balancing bitterness. Much better than the bottle.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy and straw. Sweet malty, light fruity. Bitter and dry grassy finish.

Bottle from Sourced Market. Amber orange color with lace. Grassy nose, orange-lemon, light caramel. Flavors of caramel, light cardboard, nice gentle hops, grass, tobacco, hay. Nice and very quaffable.

cask@Taylors in Streatham, London - Amber/bronze pour with white head. Sweet malty light caramel base, with some slight hopping on the palate. Drunk this many times in different places and never has a bad pint of this. Classic bitter.

Re-rate 17/04/2022. Bottle from a neighbour. Crystal clear amber with a persistent 1cm white head. Looks better than all the murk I've suffered recently. Aromas of brown bread and lemon curd. Taste is faintly metallic, citrus and malt. Up a bit for looks and nose. 03/08/2013 - Pours clear amber with a quickly dissipating head. Grassy hops, butterscotch on the nose. Too sweet a finish. And since when was 4.1% considered strong?
