50cl bottle from ABCBeers. Thick white head. Clear golden amber pour. Nice smooth bitterness. A very good bitter!

Cask at the Mug House, Bewdley. Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma is creamy, bready malt with a touch of banana from the hops. Taste has lots of bready malt and toast with a strong bitter finish. Touch if sulphur. Creamy mouthfeel.

Copper amber in colour with a small head. It has a light bitterness as its character and is an easy to drink session ale with some light malts.

16.9 oz bottle shared by csbosox. The pour is a light haze golden copper orange with a minimal off white head. The aroma is cracker crystal malt along with some floral and hay. The taste is the iced tea character of the crystal malt, some nice cracked grain, and the floral is more of a dry almost potpourri honey. Some light oxidation is definitely present. The palate is low to medium bodied with a low level of soft carbonation, and the dry toast grain finish. Decent, though this was certainly not in peak condition. I had wanted to try this beer for awhile, thanks for sharing it Chris. Now to find it in its proper condition.

An dieses Bier kann ich mich auch noch aus einer Verkostungsbox des Bier-Index erinnern. Ich wage zu behaupten, dass es einen sehr vollen starken Geschmack nach Malz und Hefe hatte. Von einem leichten , erfrischenden Pale Ale merkte ich nicht viel. Es erinnerte vielmehr an ein vollmundiges Märzen und war durchaus süffig. Ein untypisches, aber gutes Ale.

A decent bitter, adequate beige head, good lacing, amber body, slight carbonation. Aroma is hops, pine and malt. Taste isfainter, but lingering palate is sharp and tangy. Delicious.

Cask at Bert’s Bar. Clear amber body with a small white head. Light lacing. Aroma of wax, white pepper and peach. Very light, subtle aroma. Flavour is very soft and delicate. Orange marmalade and biscuit with a light peppery spice. Medium body with a flat, oily texture. Very smooth and drinkable.

Cask handpump at The Polehill Arms, Renhold, Bedfordshire. Driving so needed something light and this fitted the bill. This is a nice golden beer for one that is 3.5%, though a little oily. No carbonation which suited it. Enjoyable.
