0,5l bottle from bottle from Sainsbury's Supermarket in Horsham. Head is medium, tan, average retention. Colour is dark amber to brown, hazy. Aroma is citrus, toast, bit caramel. Taste is medium malty base, citrus, grapefruits,toast, bit pine, long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the local Sainsbury’s. Pours clear copper-gold with a creamy, off-white topping. Lightly sweet with notes of sun-baked malts, grass, crispy pine, dirty hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Bitter finish, light dried resin, more grassy hops, sun-kissed malts. Very decent old-school IPA.

500ml bottle. Pale copper in colour, with a thin, off-white, head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of red berries, caramel and root ginger in the background. Flavour had more caramel upfront with a hint of strawberry sweetness and some vanilla oak. The ginger again came through with some late in the day spicy warmth before a moderately bitter finish. An interesting and subtle use of ginger.

500ml bottle. Pale copper in colour, with a thin, off-white, head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of red berries, slightly toasted malts and orange peel, with some leafy hops. Flavour has some more fruity sweetness upfront, with robust, almost earthy, malts some spicy complexity and a lingering, bitter finish with yet more jammy fruit. A very good supermarket beer.

Can from Eltham Sainsburys. Black pour with a beige head. Certainly a Terry's Chocolate Orange nose, splash of digestive biscuit & creamy coffee. Malty sweet chocolate orangey flavours, spot of vanilla cheesecake. Malty sweet, light bitterness on the palate.

Randomly delivered with the Sainsbury's online shop. It pours darkest brown to black with a khaki head. The aroma is earthly roasted malt, bitter - sweet, coffee grounds, chocolate, perfumed orange and Terry's chocolate orange. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, earthy roast, burnt toast, charred, cacao nibs, chocolate bourbons, slightly ashy, orange peel, waxy rind, campari and peppery spice with a bitter toasty finish. Average body and carbonation. Not sweet at all, more bitter and fragrant. Ok.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury's, Darlington. 3.4%. Bright pink-purple colour, foamy pink head and aroma of cherry, pineapple, coconut, ginger. Taste is sweet, coconut, pineapple, along with some cherry & ginger notes. Medium, bodied, high carbonation, sweet finish. OK, very sweet.

Creamy white head left a spotty cover on a dark golden coloured body. Citrus, malt & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a dry back. Tangerine, wine gums, nectarine & bubble gum tastes with a nicely hopped finish. Very nice.

750ml bottle - Pours a hazy orange-gold colour with a small frothy off-white head. The aroma is marmalade, fresh oranges, spice, and lemon zest. A moderately sweet and citrusy taste, marmalade, bitter grapefruit, and spicy yeast flavours with a herbal hop bitter finish.
