Bottle at Birreria Volo. Clear amber, lambic looking pour, with next to no head. Super funky, barnyardy, sour Aroma. Some nice crisp citrus notes, lots of wet hay, and wet grass and wet cardboard. I’m loving this, can’t get my nose out of the glass. A little watery mouthfeel and the carb is all but gone. The finish sees the sourness fade and turn to straight wet hay and FUNK. as it warms mint and basil make an appearance and end in more sour funkineas. Quite nice.

Light hops, quite a bit of doughy caramel malts. This is very muddled and messy. Quite sweet with some hops in the end with a light bitterness.

Hazy copper, sticky, small off white head. Earthy hops, grass, and mint. Medium carb, medium mouth feel. Finish is very herbal, mint, and cereals. Not a very good ipa in my books.

330ml bottle from my local government controlled monopoly. Hazy amber pour, big rocky white head. Interesting aroma. Grassy hops, cloves, citrus, and an almost hefe like yeastiness. Flavor is quite hoppy, light pepper, and more subtle spices. Finish is quite bitter, the spices fall off and the hops come forward. A little heavier than i expected but still a nice quaff.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta e persistenza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenz limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. La lingua riporta impressioni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, erba e agrumi.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta ed è persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. La carbonazione è vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo appena percepibile. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è delicato. Sulla lingua arrivano note di miele e cereali.

La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è bassa. Il colore è ambrato tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è normale e la durata è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma trova impressioni di caramello, miele e crosta di pane.

Hazy orange/amber with a large foamy white head. Aroma of malts, citrus fruits, tropical fruits, yeast, spices and hops. Flavour is moderate citrussy sweetness with some nice bitterness in the aftertaste. Excellent IPA.

Hazy amber with a huge frothy white head. Complex floral aroma of malts, yeast, various tropical fruits, spices and hops. Flavour is much the same, some malt sweetness and a moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite a special Double IPA.
