Description

Bottle shared at a Den Haag RB tasting. A cloudy brown pour with a thin white broken head. A rich malty alcoholic aroma. The flavour is bitter, rich malty and the bitterness sits on the palate for ages. A super drinkable beer.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Pitch black color, small brown head that leaves a slight lacing. Smell malts, toast, lightly roasty, coffee, earth. Taste toasted malts, earth, a hint of smoke, lightly bitter. Medium body, a bit low carbonated, but it suits the beer. Nicely balanced, quite like it.

Bottle @ Benzai. Pitch black oily with a small light brown head. Smells oatmeal, roasty, some chocolate, some coffee, fullgrain bread. Strong smell for its abv. Tastes oatmeal, cornflakes, slightly roasty in the aftertaste. Some chocolate but not very strong. With more abv this beer would be pretty amazing. With this abv its not at all perfect since its a bit thin, but still it’s quite a good beer if you ask me.
