Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Pours dirty amber with a few white bubbles. Soft tropical fruit aroma with floral. Near med body. Mild roast malt background with mixed tropical fruits and some citrus rind. Maybe also some light pitted fruit. Pretty close to dry and pretty tastily hoppy. Develops a lot of citrus rind in the finish. Very nice beer.

Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Pours dark dishwater gold with a transient white head. Light aroma of citrus. Perhaps an earthy hint. Near med body. There’s not a great deal of malt, but there’s an awful lot of citrus hop. Goes a bit earthy as the beer goes down. It’s very dry. It’s astringent. It’s really, really bitter! Very impressive for 2.5.

Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Pours light amber with a creamy 2 finger beige head. Aroma is fruity with some spice. Med minus body. Flavor seems lightly peppery with light pitted fruit and a little citrus. Theres a somewhat harshly roasted malt in the background. Not up to NW American hop strength, but pretty hoppy. Dry. Tasty.

Draught @ Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Pours unclear golden with a small creamy head. Yeast, peach and grassy hops. Bitter, smooth and dry. Good.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 16 July 2012) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, lemon peel and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, lemon, grainy malt and a generous grassy bitterness with lots of fresh hops. Rather thin body, quite dry. Very tasty and refreshing, the low alcohol level making it ridiculously drinkable. Nice one.
