Description

330mL bottle at Brewberry, pours black with a medium tan head. Nose brings out a great mix of roasted malt and scorching piney hops. Flavour is similarly a great balance of these notes, finishing slightly harsh, but also remaining highly drinkable. Very impressive black IPA from the French masters.

330mL bottle at Brewberry, pours a dirty dark brownish orange with a medium beige head. Nose is very earthy, with lots of earthy hops, musty notes, and light floral notes - very dirty smelling. Flavour matches accordingly, with a super filthy, earthy hop quality that dominates. Very harsh astringency as well on the finish, though it becomes more palatable with each additional sip. This is a filthy one. Not the most drinkable IPA, but it's decent enough.
