Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy black color with small creamy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of smoked bacon, smoked sausage, leather and hints of rubber. Taste starts with heavy roasted malt, follows strong smoky and fresh grainy, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. That’s the smoke I really like...

Bouteille de 33cl, merci à Pierre, BB 07/2014. Qu’est-ce que je voulais aimer cette bière, surtout que Mont Salève fait de superbes bières, mais ... mais ... Un col beige qui disparait vite, bcp trop vite pour au final obtenir une bière visuellement peu attirante. Un bouquet restituant bien la framboise avec une alternance en rétro-nasal de malts notamment caramel et grillé. Palais donne également la donne avec un profil framboise agréable aux notes terreuses, léger picotement fruité typique de la framboise. Note également le côté malté choco, léger grillé d’un stout avec un fini terreux sur une bonne effervescence. Malheureusement et tout comme l’arôme, des morceaux de levure viennent gêner la dégustation. Ces derniers gâchent quasi la moitié de la dégustation. Bonne idée, mais terriblement décevant au niveau de l’exécution.

Unclear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, light grapefruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, malty, grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130927]

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, salty - sea water, light chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, salty. Dieses Bier war schon ein Vertreter der äußerst aromatischen Biere, bevor diese cool wurden. So bekam man ein ehrliches, ausgewogenes Bier mit tollen Geschmacksnuancen und balancierer Würze. Das einzige, was mich an diesem Bier störte, dass es etwas zu zurückhaltend war -der Geschmack ist super! Mehr her damit!
