Aroma is fruity and a bit oaky. A general malty presence is felt but it is strongly counterbalanced by some slightly acidic fruity tones. Then the finish becomes a bit woody and dry. Misses the fresh hoppiness associated with an IPA but still nice.

Very pale, golden colour. Light hoppy aroma. Very thin and watery texture. Light hoppy flavour. Big hit of citrus. Good balance of flavour, slightly bitter, slightly sweet. A bit weak but a great thirst quencher.

Can @ home. Upon opening, this baby started gushing, so i had to pour it pretty aggressively. Initially a huge head but upon some settling, this was a copper orange appearance with a cream colored head. Creamy, toasty toffee, sweet, a touch citrusy aroma. Creamy mouth feel. Toffee, creamy, light bodied, earthy, a touch fruity flavor. This style really isn’t for me, but this was a disappointment.

500 ml can from Systembolaget. It has a light amber body with a white head. Aroma are a blend of toffe, light fruity and hopps. Flavour contains caramel and toffe sweetness, fruity and hoppy but unfortunately a bit low on carbonation.

Bottle @ the Bladnoch Inn. Pours amber with a decent head. The nose has grapes, apples and toffee. The taste is more apples and toffee. The palate is medium bodied, quite creamy in texture with a clean-ish finish. Overall, better than in cask, I think. Worth having another, so I did.
