Bottle @ Liva, Kolding. Pours dark amber with a small creamy white head. Nose is rye, bread, corn and mild caramel. Vinous flavor- burnt caramel, rye and bread. Medium bodied.

500ml bottle at 4.3%. Pours golden with a thin, non lasting white. Aroma just isn’t there, some grass maybe? Sweetish honey malt throughout. Nowt special.

(bottle, 4.3% abv) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet cara-malty and slightly papery aroma with notes of citric and slightly woody hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with an almost flat carbonation, hence a slightly sticky mf. Malty and slightly fruity hoppy taste with a whiff of caramel; slim fruity and shy woody finish. Not particularly demanding, but also not completely bad. 04.XII.10

Cask (handpump) @ JDW - The Paramount, 33-35 Oxford Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M1 4BH.Clear medium to dark amber brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, spicy, dried fruity, glue notes, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruity, phenol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100425]

Dull amber. Plasticy aroma and lots of caramel lameness. Palate is buttery, lightly caramelly, sweet - not much to recommend about this bog standard. Not a satisfying beer.

500ml bottle. Pours a darkish golden with a medium head. Aroma is caramel and some orange. Very faint. Bready start and some skunk and caramel on the finish. Low bitter finish.

From cask at The Society Room. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a small white head. Aroma is mild peachy fruity. Crisp hoppy, peachy and mild citrusy. Vague sweet impression, otherwise dry and crisp hoppy fruity. Bitter and lingering fruity into the finish.

Cask handpull at Druids Head Maidstone. Very deep brown colour. No real head. It is an ok rich malty best bitter with some GK yeast flavour. No real hop and just ok condition. Bit simple and malt is a bit unrefined

Cask handpull at Muggletons JDW Maidstone. Deep copper colour clear thin beige head. It has some caramel toffee up tront and then the house yeast kicks in on the finish. Some dryness on finish. Ok if unremarkable toffeeish bitter.
