Description
We create our own beer recipes – with homemade malt (BOM means Belgische Originele Moutbakkerij or Belgian Original Maltbakery) forming the basis for a secret composition of ingredients, called a “BOM package” – that we brew according to the principles of a gypsy-brewery. The Triporteur beers are our point of departure and our basic beers. Besides those, we also launch a special beer line with once-off products.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy golden colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Nice lacing. Aromas of yellow fruits. Taste is hoppy and also a touch sour with more ripe yellow fruits and also a citrus tang, apples, a little bit of sweetness, peppery spice and some warming alcohol. Medium body with average carbonation. Decent enough.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Deep ambery brown colour with a big foamy off-white head. Aroma is floral, some fruity tones with ashes, roast and a bit liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, ashes, some fruity and quite bitter floral tones. A bit too much roasted/ashy tones for my likes.

Bottled. Hazy dark brown colour with a beige head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted, some oaky tones with dark chocolate, spicy yeast and mild alcohol with some dates and figs too. Flavour pretty much follows the pattern of the aroma. Actually less boozy than I expected.
