Bottle Pours dark brown with a modest light tan head and smooth thin lacing. A few yeasty bits floating around. Aroma is a bit sweet, carmel, vanilla, dark and nutty. Flavor is very mild, sweet, lightly smokey. Feel is a bit thin but very smooth. A lingering charcoal taste. A very easy drinking porter.

Let me start out by saying that this is a style that I rarely find examples of that I enjoy. I like this brewer a decent amount so I figured I would try their version. +++Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a nice red-mahogany color with a small tan head. The aroma was rich and malty with some molasses and toasted caramel. The flavor was sweet, malty and had a hint of molasses. The finish was a bit sour and overall had a bit of a vegetable flavor.

A hazy orange beer with a fast disappearing white head. The aroma is dominated by aroma hops and grass - it’s like sticking your head in a hop bush. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol and a lot of aroma hops. The mouthfeel is a little sticky.

It took a while for this one to grow on me and I have to stress that this beer NEEDS to be drunk fresh as aged examples are more like cherry cough syrup . +++Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy brown head. The aroma was strong tart cherries, sweet malts and a touch of chocolate. The flavor was tart, bitter and tangy with strong sour cherries and moderate creamy malts with undertones of malted milk and chocolate. The finish was long tart cherry and faint chocolate. A touch thin in body. Well done.

An unclear orange beer with a small disappearing lazing head. The aroma is very slight, but what is there is of oranges. The flavor is sweet hoppy and malty with a hoppy dry end.

Ah how deceptive a name can be. The name does not inspire but he beer inside is fantastic. My only complaint is that price keeps me from getting this one as much as I would prefer. +++Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a rich orange-golden color with a huge creamy orange head. The head lingered for a long time and had nice lacing. The aroma was strong, sweet, fruity, malty and had a hint of spice. The flavor was identical to how it smelled and had a nice thick mouthfeel. Wonderful.

Thanks to CaptainCougar for this one! First glass poured a deep mahogany with ruby highlights, the next glass was muddy brown with yeast chunks floating in the gloom. The aroma was malty with dried fruit. The flavor was of a young Barleywine, sweetness that was tempered by a sharp hop bitterness. No hop aroma. This should improve with age as the hop bitterness gives way to the malt.

I can’t believe I had to go to Stockholm to get this one. That’s just weak. Sedimented golden amber. Aroma of flowery hops and peachy esters and sweet pale malts. Slightly spritzy. Some peachy notes. Sweet, flowery finish.
