Pour is a syurpy orange-brown. Aroma is hoppy and winey. Flavor hits you full on. Lots of vanilla, plums, chocolate and hops. Leave a very nice alcohol burn as it goes down. Very tasty and waming on a cold winter night.

I am a wheat beer fan with an interest in Belgian Wits - and a rather strong liking for this company so I jumped at the chance to try this offering. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this brew poured a light golden color with a small white head. The aroma was lightly wheaty and had a bit of dry spice. The flavor was reasonably strong with wheat malt, a light touch of citrus and a very nice spice presence - coriander I assume. This is a rather nice Belgian Wit and stacks up pretty well with the ones I have had from Belgium.

Deep dark stout with thin white head. Dark chocolate aroma with lactic points with ashes. Dry bitter chocolate with anice nutty finish which lasts, covers the sweet character of the malt. Medium bodied. Bitterness increases as beer warms up.

Pitch black stout with a brown head. Aroma of Cherry Blossom’s and cinnamon and nutmeg. Dark bitter chocolate with acidic fruity points. Could be interesting as a mulled warm beer.

Quite possibly my favorite beer for general consumption. Pours nice, nice big creamy head over a orange-gold hazy liquid. Scents of grapefruit, juniper and hops match well with the first sip in which evergreen and hops flavors become more intense without overpowering maltiness. Slight warmness due to alcohol content makes this a great in winter, while crisp flavoring is nice when it’s hot, too. Top notch!

Got this one sent to me from Indra. Thanks! This one poured into the glass a clear bright golden color and then the yeast came at the end and muddied it. It must be bottle conditioned! Tall sticky head that fell rather quickly but stuck tenaciously to the sides of the glass, leaving blotter patterns all the way down. The aroma has a yeasty breadyness to it. The first part of my tongue to respond were the sides, caused by the slightly bitter aspect of the brew, then that was washed back for some mildly sweet maltiness before fading into a nice dry finish. This is another worthy addition to the other Bell’s I have enjoyed and would be a good one to seek out if the more bitter, bigger IPA’s just aren’t your thing.

Bottled. Has a nice cherry smell with some yeast noticeable. Pours a deep brown-black body under a soda fizz that results in no head. Sweet, deep cherry continues in the taste, plus chocolate roast that alternates between barely there and chocolate-covered cherry. Despite being bottle-conditioned, it’s fizzy like a cherry soda—but that fits well with its flavor profile. Further down, sweetness is replaced by a dry red wine component, ending with a flare of wine dregs. Too bad I didn’t notice their description or the ABV on the label, else I’d have tried to cellar this a while.

Thanks to MrFacto for this delicious brew! Deep black with a ruby tint that appears when strongly lit from behind. Thick creamy tan head. Malty chocolate aroma that repeats in the flavor with a coffee finish. Easily earns it’s place among the other Bell’s Stouts and Porters.

Deep and dark, almost opaque with a ruby glow that tries to come through at the edges. Big mocha whipped cream head. Aroma of roast malt and dark caramel. Wonderfully smooth and thick palate delivers loads of coffee and chocolate. Very nicely done Porter.

Pours a cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma is very sweet and bready. Flavor is cloves, yeast and spice. You do get some of the grapefruit and banana others have described. Quite thin and watery in the end thought, could use a bit more yeast. Quite flavorful but nothing to put this one over the top.
