A dank and hoppy nose from a golden body, thin white head. There is a really fresh zestiness to the taste, and this is not a brand new bottle. Citrus hops featuring lemon and orange lead the way, with pepper, biscuit malt and a strong effervescence adding to the taste experience. Nice density and body for a 4.2% offering

A very thin, weak white head on a pale straw body. Nose is soft with bready malt and a touch of skunkiness (not an old bottle either. the taste is quite refreshing. Some floral and tropical fruit notes, sweet bready malt over a thin body. Carbonation is appropriate. A little extra hops in the finish, but still quite light

Cask at Borough Arms, Crewe. Pours a solid gold with a small almost white head and good lacing. There’s floral hops and marmalade in the aroma. In the mouth it is decidedly bitter with some underlying sharpness, Flavours of floral hops and tropical fruits plus some berry fruits and hints of kiwi and lychee coming later. Bitterness lasts into the dry finish. This is decent – definitely better than expected. Plenty of flavour for the strength, but so mch bitterness makes me think it is more a session IPA than a pale.

Can at home picked up from The moon under Water Watford JDW. A hazed brushed gold coloured pour with a lasting ricky white fluffy head. Aroma is nice big floral citrus, orange rind, fluffy wheat, tangerine, leafy hop. Flavour is composed of fluffy wheat, grassy citrus, floral notes, tangerine, orange rind. Light savory cracker note. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, forthy airy carbonation. Not bad.
