Description
Founded in 2007, Ascot Ales was bought by Chris Davies in 2017. Together with his son, Conor, they rebranded to Ascot Brewing Company and have since launched a secondary, multi-award winning, craft beer brand, Disruption Is Brewing.
In 2020, we built a formidable 8,500 sq. ft Brewery and TapHouse, which boasts a massive mezzanine bar with 20 taps, and hosts all types of events from beer festivals to comedy nights and corporate events to private parties.
We believe beer is the social glue that binds communities together. By brewing remarkable, flavour-bursting beer and offering unrivalled, memorable experiences, we want to push the boundaries of what’s possible when great beer and people unite.
This means we need to be bold, and we need to be big.
In November 2019, we moved to an 8,500 sq. ft warehouse, built a massive 2,500sq. ft, 20 tap taproom, increased our brewing capacity and launched an innovative craft beer brand, Disruption is Brewing. Later they completely abanded the Ascot branding.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. Has a malty nose and an unadventurous hop-malt taste, with a sweetness in its aftertaste.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Surpising lack of aroma. Some coffee vanilla. Dark and glossy with cola tints. No head. Medium bitter, with a sweet streak. Vanilla and stewed fruits/berries morr so than coffee. A hint of medicine. Medium bodied. Very sticky. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Winter warmer. More charcter than their standard imperial stout. Good stuff.

Cask at EBf28 (where else?). Bitter coffee bean aroma. I thin there's some sweetness or am I looking for German cake? Dark and glossy. The blotchy head is froth but not particularly impressive. A hint of bitter. Sweet - low key cherry and then it's indistinct. Creamy? Cakey? Thick bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Low key finish. I guess it had the characteristics of an Impy Stout and, yeah, its had some Black Forest gateux dump it. Not too much as I don't really like it! To be fair it's deceptively sweet for the style.
