Cask at Pigs Ear ’16, 29/11/16. Very lightly hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is light floral burst, straw, lemon rind, grassy bitter notes. Taste comprises light perfume, straw, orange peel, toasted grains, bsicuit crumble. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok number but could easily drift into ESB territory like many others in the single hop series.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet nutty malts, caramel, grassy hop. Flavour is composed of veg, pepper grassy, mustard seed, wasabi. Palate is prickly highish carbonation. Interesting beer. Lingering mustard. Meh.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A clear golden coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is light hay, damp straw, earthy orange grassy. Flavour is composed of dirty grassy hop orange, tangerine. Nutty malts, . Rough round the edges. Palate is semi sweet grainy, apricot. Dirty grassy hop.

Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. 12/11/16. Aroma? Glossy dark brown, with a thin off-white head. There’s some bitterness, a touch of sweetness... i.e. not much going on. Light with a very soft mouthfeel. Easy drinking in the same way that water is.

Cask at Egham Beer Festival, 11/11/16. Cheers to whoever shared it with me, a Dane?? Sweet pleasant aroma. As per the Cranberry, dark with a decent beige head. Pleasant taste - the chestnut has more depth to it. Thick. Good shxt.

[ As Ascot Anastasias Exile Kiwi ].Clear dark red - black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, fruity, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, wood, smoke, roasted, fruity something. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141206]

[ As Ascot Hope & Glory ].Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing to lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale nutty, pale malt, earthy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, biscuit, nutty - fruity - earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150211]
