Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose is massively buttery, just barrels of diacetyl present, some toffee, bread. Light sweet flavour with harsh grassy bitterness, grains, butterscotch. Light bodied with soft carbonation; so so condition. Harsh finish, some buttered toast, light earth, leaves, grass. Quite poor.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. Ashy roast on the nose, baking cocoa, earth, faint rubber. Light to medium sweet flavour, with scorched earth bitterness, hard-edge ashy roast, old leather, a bit more rubbery aspect. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Dry and strongly bitter on the finish, with notes of dry chocolate, rubber, roast and earth. So so. A bit unbalanced.

Cask at Pigs Ear, 2015. Black pour with a beige head. Woodsmoke, coffee, dark chocolate and dark berry aroma. Flavours of chocolate raisin, coffee and smoke. Velvety chocolate mouthfeel. Very tasty.

Cask at Pigs Ear, 2015. Golden/amber pour with a white head. Toffee, caramel and sweet fruit aroma. Toffee and caramel flavour. Sweet angle. Not much else really.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 04/12/15. Golden orange with a decent beige covering. Nose is light floral notes, orange pith, trace of spice, earthy hop, melon. Taste comprises caramel malt, vanilla, straw, spice, biscuit, orange, bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy hop bitterness. So so golde.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with a frothy, white cap. The aroma holds burnt toast and light cocoa. Light sweet flavor, a little ashy, with leathery berries, dry cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Dry and lightly ashy to close, with more leather and bittersweet chocolate. Not bad.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 01/12/15. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is rich roast, dark fruit tones, malty, tar, liquorice stick. Taste comprises liquorice, charred notes, aniseed, subtle spice, dark malts, burnt toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent stout.

Pours a clear, deep coppery colour with a medium creamy off white head. Roasted malt and dark chocolate aroma. Nice smooth roasted malty chocolate taste. A nice porter.

Pours black iwth a tan head. Milk chocolate aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is chocolate, light burnt malt. Smooth, tasty finish.
