Description
Founded in 2007, Ascot Ales was bought by Chris Davies in 2017. Together with his son, Conor, they rebranded to Ascot Brewing Company and have since launched a secondary, multi-award winning, craft beer brand, Disruption Is Brewing.
In 2020, we built a formidable 8,500 sq. ft Brewery and TapHouse, which boasts a massive mezzanine bar with 20 taps, and hosts all types of events from beer festivals to comedy nights and corporate events to private parties.
We believe beer is the social glue that binds communities together. By brewing remarkable, flavour-bursting beer and offering unrivalled, memorable experiences, we want to push the boundaries of what’s possible when great beer and people unite.
This means we need to be bold, and we need to be big.
In November 2019, we moved to an 8,500 sq. ft warehouse, built a massive 2,500sq. ft, 20 tap taproom, increased our brewing capacity and launched an innovative craft beer brand, Disruption is Brewing. Later they completely abanded the Ascot branding.

Cask at CPK, London. Pours clear yellow with a small, white foam head. This is a pretty straight-ahead golden ale. Very basic. Light, dry doughy pale malts, some mellow bitter straw. Light in body with fine carbonation. Simple finish, more pale and doughy malts, light sweetness, low bitterness. Nothing too exciting here.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 11/01/13. Clear dark amber/brown with a thin off white head that retains well. Nose is summer fruit, hops, brown sugar, toffee. Taste follows, malt forward, caramel, orchard fruits, apple, a little biscuit. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a little bitterness in the finish. A bit on the ’twiggy brown’ side but drinkable. Not one I’d bother with again mind.

Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen. Thanks to jackl for the pour....(I think). It pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. The nose is toast, earth, dough, citrus pith, soap and some cheese. The taste is lightly tart, dishwater, earth, spice, weak pithy citrus, hay and light astringency with a dry, pithy finish. Light-medium body and low carbonation. Not sure if this was on top form (or at least I hope it wasn’t). Not an enjoyable experience.
