In 2020, we built a formidable 8,500 sq. ft Brewery and TapHouse, which boasts a massive mezzanine bar with 20 taps, and hosts all types of events from beer festivals to comedy nights and corporate events to private parties.
We believe beer is the social glue that binds communities together. By brewing remarkable, flavour-bursting beer and offering unrivalled, memorable experiences, we want to push the boundaries of what’s possible when great beer and people unite.
This means we need to be bold, and we need to be big.
In November 2019, we moved to an 8,500 sq. ft warehouse, built a massive 2,500sq. ft, 20 tap taproom, increased our brewing capacity and launched an innovative craft beer brand, Disruption is Brewing. Later they completely abanded the Ascot branding.

Bottle 50cl.Unclear medium to dark brown color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy spicy, coriander, cinnamon, juniper berry. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy spicy (cinnamon, coriander, ginger) bitter with a average to long duration. Way to spicy IMO. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090103]

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 09. Too much cinnamon and spice on aroma. Too perfumed, pretty poor.

Bottle. It looks quite sexy in the glass, with its dark, dark brown body and a small, firm beige head. The rest of it is unfortunately rather boring. Dried fruits, some licorice and cooked carrots makes the aroma, lacking a lot on the roasted malt. The flavor has a decent taste of burnt malts, with some licorice in the back. Some sour notes too, but it seems they’re not from the malts. Medium body, rather dry. Roasted finish. It seems lightly infected, maybe that’s why I wasn’t impressed at all. (081128)

On gravity at Swindon BF 30/10/08. Mahogany with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, grassy hops and barnyard earthiness. Flavour was complex, with some sweet malts, fruit and tonnes of floral and grassy hops. Would agree that this tasted like a hoppy mild. Great, original stuff.

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden-orange, quite pale body with a small, white head. Grapefruit-sourish nose, slightly artificial. Seems like it might be going bad. Grapefruit, generic fruityness, caramel and some bitterness in the mouth. Flavor feels a bit artificial too. Thin body, sourish and dry, almost papery mouthfeel. Grapefruit-sour and hoppy bitter finish. Strange one. Good? In a way. Bad? In a way. (080829)
