Shared can at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 12.04.18. Clear pale golden. Not much head. Inviting aroma and refreshing taste of fresh cider, yellow apples and elderflowers. Very quaffable.

0,5 flaske delt på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen, april-18: klar, lys gylden med kort skum. Søt og innsmigrende aroma og smak med hylleblomst, tynn te, søte epler og sommerblomster. Mildt krydret, søtlig avslutning.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 12.04.18. Orange. Small, white head. Strong aroma and taste of strawberries and strawberry jam, with hints of sweet yellow apples. Good quaffability.

0,5 flaske delt på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen, april-18: ferskenrød med kort skum. Søte epler, jordbær (naturligvis...) og modne multer i smak og aroma. Frisk ganerenser og behagelig fruktsyre i avslutningen. Sikkert velegnet også som aperitif.

Cask @ Bridge Bier Huis, Burnley. Hazy golden and noticeably sweet before its strength becomes evident. Has a good apple aftertaste.

Draught @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Thistly Cross Whisky Cask Cider ].Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate apple, wood, oak, sweet apple, vanilla, sweet - sugary. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet apple, oak, wood, vanilla. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20170924] 6-2-7-3-12

January 2018: Shared 500 ml bottle, from Aberdeen Country Fair. ABV is 6.9%. Very pale straw colour. Nice aroma of apples, only a hint of whisky cask. Sweet apples in the flavour too, with subtle notes of whisky cask.

0,5 flaske på RBHD-samling, Bjørnøy jan-18: klar lys strågul med kort bruseskum. Nydelig cideraroma med vanilje men jeg kan ikke ane maltwhiskyen. Rund og elegant smak, farlig lettdrikkelig og en av de virkelig bedre cidere jeg har smakt.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 26.01.18. Clear pale yellow. A few bubbles of white head. Fine aroma of apple cider and vanilla. Similar taste, with a hint of oak and smoke. Slightly astringent mouthfeel.

From cask at Port Street Beer House, Manchester, 30.11.17. Translucent pale yellow. Small whie head. Refreshing aroma and taste of fresh orchard apples, fresh wild apples and apple juice. Sweet. A hint of cinnamon in aftertaste.
