330ml bottle conditioned; bottled on 6th Mar 15, poured into a βPalmβ badged bulbous stemmed tulip on 29th Jul 15. Label says itβs a Rye Oatmeal Stout: letβs see. Dark brown to proper black body, the head a steady, firm tanned blanket of deep foam. Earthy, grainy aroma with plenty of roasted maltiness. The taste follows suit, the roasted malts pushing any other flavours into the background, such is their dominance. Mild dry bitterness in the finish but overall this is all about the different malts and how they have blended together. Nice.

Cask at Birmingham Beer Bash 3; hazy golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has punchy tropical hops, taste has pineapple, some dank tropical hops, mango, bitter grapefruit.

Craft Tottenham Court Road. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth but there is not that much carbonation. Lactose sweet pale malts. Light floral bitterness. Touch of lime led tropical fruits. Smooth finish. A decent beer trying to escape shabby condition.
