Description
First brewed in Spring 2010 as the Wheatsheaf Inn based at Wheatsheaf Inn, High Street, Llantrisant, Pontyclun. It was originally owned by Celt Experience. In 2011 it brewed for a short time using the name Korev, before settling on the current name in Spring 2012 when it separated from Celt Experience. It moved to its current address in Spring 2013 where an 11BBL plant was used. Experimental beers are produced under the Hopcraft banner. Brewing ceased in early 2019.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; pitch black pour with a frothy off white head, aroma has milk chocolate and some fresh pine, taste has chocolate, subdued pine, roast malts, mellow carbonation, nice.

Cask at Craft 100, CBC Clapham, 02/04/15. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is rich roast, chocolate, dark fruits, light spice. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, red berry fruit linger, pinch of spice, cocoa powder, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light roasted notes. Decent porter.

Cask gravity at Craft 100 Clapham, Good Friday 3rd April 2015 Light pale lemony colour with a white rim. Furry across the roof of the mouth, dry edge, grapefruit and lemon showing, it’s a might fine beer, but without ever wowing me. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
