Cask at Craft 100. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is sweet, bitter-sweet, soft, juicy tropical fruits, peach and apricot. The taste is soft, big deal of bitterness, straw, grassy, pithy citrus, grapefruit and a touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty solid gear.

Cask at Craft 100. It pours black with a small, bubbly beige head. The nose is earthy roast, cocoa, chocolate and dark fruits. The taste is bitter, earthy, wood, roast malt, mild acidity, ash and dark fruits with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. OK, but far from Hopcraft’s best.

Craft #100 fest at Clapham. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is smooth with modest fine carbonation. Nice mellow dark malts. Mild berry fruits, light piney hops. Semi dry finish. Pretty easy drinking and a little CDA like.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden on 30th March 2015. Gold with off-white shallow foam and part lacing. Herby, hoppy aroma with malt and cheesy yeasts. Grassy, bitter hops in-mouth with sweetish citrus on the tongue. Finish is lasting grassy bitterness. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Cask-conditioned at the Crofters’ Rights, Bristol 30/3/2015. Pale gold with a frothy, white, head. Big, grassy hop aroma with a touch of creamy malt. Flavour had plenty of sharp lemon fruit, some tangerine sweetness and lingering, bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at the London Drinker Beer Festival, 2015. Gold pour with a white head. Aromas of apricot, mango.. lots of soft, sweet fruit which segues seamlessly into the flavour. Excellent stuff.
