Description
Ben, Sam & Graham started Pressure Drop in 2013, making 50L batches in Graham's garden shed. After upgrading to a 5BBL kit and spending a few years in a railway arch in Hackney (yep, we are the stereotype), we've found our home in Tottenham.

We now employ a small team of great people and have a bigger, nicer and shinier 20BBL brew kit. We're making the best beer that we can, in styles that we want to enjoy, and hope that you will too.

Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Dark dark brown beer with thin disappearing beige head. German weisse yeasty aroma with some milk choc. Tasty dark weisse beer with a touch of smoke. I’ve been quite impressed with the couple of beers from this brewery. It’s a little under the radar I think, not as flashy as Kernel or Partizan, but does good stuff. Good character in this beer.

Note for admins:- confirmed with the brewer that this is a new recipe. Expect more hop variations on this beer name. Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Light minerals. Thin creamy malt. Very nice orange and tangerine hops with lesser lemon and grapefruit. Finishes semi dry. Feels a bit thin but great fruity hops.

Very hazy amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Palate is dry and a slightly soft. Dry creamy malt, sweet with a touch of caramel. This transforms in to fairly bitter pine hops. Finishes dry and minerally crisp with sweeter pine in the aftertaste and a little citrus. Not bad at all but the sweet malt and bitter pine seems to sit apart somewhat instead of being a cohesive whole.

33cl bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras station. Very dark brown almost black beer with a lasting dark beige head. American brown style aroma. quite attractive though. Good deep malts in the mouth. Yes enormously drinkable I would say. Good solid brown beer with good malts and decent hops on finish. Excellent, very well balanced. Enjoyable.

Opaque dark brown beer with a massive over size pale tan head. Settles down quickly. Nice nose of sweet caramel and smoke. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Taste does not live up to the beguiling nose. Thin tangy malt with a buried fruity note. Mild bubblegum ester. Mellow smoke. Very dry finish. A bit messy and over dry but a nice snout.

Cloudy brown beer with a huge over size pale cream coloured head. A slow but persistent gusher that had to be stood in the sink after opening. Palate is light with fine carbonation. No infected notes in the taste. Somewhat sweet caramel malt with a spice that may be the rye. A sherbet candy sweetness dominates the mid through to the finish. Finishes semi dry. Interesting!
