Description
Ben, Sam & Graham started Pressure Drop in 2013, making 50L batches in Graham's garden shed. After upgrading to a 5BBL kit and spending a few years in a railway arch in Hackney (yep, we are the stereotype), we've found our home in Tottenham.

We now employ a small team of great people and have a bigger, nicer and shinier 20BBL brew kit. We're making the best beer that we can, in styles that we want to enjoy, and hope that you will too.

Cloudy amber beer, huge off white head. This bottle was a slow gusher. Palate is airy and dry with a carbonated nip. Light malt sweetness with a touch of lactose. Mellow citrus, slightly sherbet. Finishes dry and crisp with a little lemon. Not bad but I suspect not in the best of health.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow-golden color, huge very active white head. Aroma is very fruity, citrus, lots of hops, very fresh. Taste lightly malts, nice hoppyness, crisp, bitter and grassy. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very nicely done! I’d love to have this regularly available where I live. Only 3.8% ABV!

Bottled, 5.2% ABV Gyle 2 bottled 15/07/13, large sample. Pitch black color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, loads of dark bread, hint of lactose, blackcurrant, earthy hops, bit fruity. Taste is mostly bitter and slight sourish, mostly from the dark malts. Finishes a bit dry. Lots of flavor, bit harsh on the malts, but balanced out nice actually. Wonderful stuff for such low ABV.

RE-RATE. 330ml bottle from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Big tropical fruit & lime aroma, fruity taste with grapefruit, lime & mango. Good balanced, tasty, spot-on APA. 330ml bottle from Borough Wines, Stoke Newington. Has a rather inviting smell that’s hard to describe. Quite mellow tastes of tangerine and lemon with a slight bitterness coming into view. Not exactly mindblowing.
