On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours golden with a decent head and some haze. The nose has a lemon and yeast thing going on against some pale malt in the background. The taste is of a minerally lemon yoghurt. There is definitely a cask character coming through. The palate is quite dry on the finish but fairly balanced.

Cask at the Snooty Fox, London. Pours clear gold with a slight, white foam head. Jammy citrus aroma, some pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with more jammy citrus, some orange and grapefruit, lightly toasted malts, pine, grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Well and resinous to finish, plenty of pine, orange rind, dirt and grass, some grapefruit. It’s a very ’traditional British’ IPA, but it does have some more progressive elements. Pretty solid effort.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence, SE London - Dark brown/black pour with a frothy fading to thin tan head. Roasted malts, chocolate/cocoa, coffee/mocha. Body is watery/light which was weird at first, but grew on me as I completed the bottle. Pretty decent stuff this.
