Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 11/09/12. Clear golden with a thin white head that soon clears. Pale malt, light fruit and hops in both nose and taste. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. File under ’W’ !

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 11/09/12. Very dark brown approaching black with a thin dirty mocha head which retained well. Dark roasted malts on the nose and a good amount of coffee. Taste matches, lots of roast malt and coffee allied to some molasses and licqourice. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a dry finish. Great stout and one to revisit.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 11/09/12. Hazy copper in appearance with a thin white head. Caramel and a little smoke on the nose. Toffee in the taste, fruit, dates, malts. Medium bodied with a bitter dry finish.

Cask at CPK, London during the Revolutions Tap Takeover. Pours faintly hazy orange-gold with a small, white cream cap. Dry, grassy pine in the nose, moderate toasty hay. Light sweet flavor, some gritty and toasty grass, a bit of sticky pine, along with faint earth and grapefruit rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sticky finish, some raw grass hops, faint resinous licks. Decent stuff. Well and hopped.

Cask at CPK, London during the Revolutions Tap Takeover. Pours rich brown with a creamy, beige head. Lovely nose, lots of earthy roast, soft coffee, moderate milk cocoa. Light sweet flavor, faint lacto tank, velvety chocolate, baking cocoa, very light mocha notes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Light sweet finish, very low bitterness, faint moss, some ashy roast. Very nice.

Cask at CPK, London during the Revolutions Tap Takeover. Pours clear, red-gold with a wimpy, white head. Dank pine nose, some wet grass. Light to medium sweet flavor, lightly toasted malts, some toasty sugars, subtle ripe orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Modest sweetness on the finish with faint wet grass, mild pine resins. Not too dry, in a nice way. Good balance. Pleasant beer.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. A black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty aroma. Tastes roasty, malty, some coffee and chocolate, fruity and a pleasant bitterness. A quite superb rich tasting stout which I will definitely seek out again.
