Description
Established in 2010, Revolutions is a music-inspired micro brewery producing a range of cask ales of all styles from pale ales through to stouts and porters. Home to the multi award-winning Swoon Chocolate Fudge Milk Stout. The brewery also holds beer from other breweries from Yorkshire and further afield and currently sources beer for many beer festivals across the UK.

Brewing ceased in March 2023.

(Cask@Catford Bridge Tavern, SE London) Amber colour, medium white. Aroma/taste of light roasted grainy malts, slight dark fruit toffee, pine notes. Ok.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 23 Nov 2012) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, toast, red fruit and blood oranges. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, red fruit, orange and toast. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite nice.

Cask @ Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico SW1. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with hoppy hints. Fruity malty bitter caramel hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter caramel finish.

(cask@Catford Bridge Tavern) Copper/amber pour with a dissipating small white head. Aroma is caramel with spicy fruit and cinnamon notes. Taste caramel malt spicy dark fruity character, pine and very strong cinnamon. Not a bad seasonal ale overall for me, me but the Mrs really loved it (D16)

Cask (handpump) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, dusty, pale nuts nutty, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malty, pale nuts. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120120]

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden brown with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light breadish. Light spiced and dry toasted. Dry malty, breadish and roasted. Dry and bitter finish, lasting roasted malty.

Cask at CPK, London. Pours hazy amber-ruby with a fine, white cream head. Rich, toasted whole grain bread aroma, light berries. Beautiful nose, loads of nuance there. Medium sweet flavor with semi-ripe berries, great cherries, faint caramel, light toast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Medium sweet finish with more toasty malts, berries, semi-ripe fruits, faint dry caramel. Excellent balance and depth of character.

Cask at CPK, London. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white cream head. Biscuity, doughy malt nose, some mild floral notes, moderate hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with some tangy straw, doughy biscuits, light dandelions. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Pleasant fiish, medium sweet with faint dry lemon, more biscuits. Solid golden ale.

Cask at Birmingham Beer Fest 2012; Pours dark brown, heavy roast malt taste with a hoppy bitter edge. Think this brew has something to do with Black Sabbath, this would explain why there were a load of people dressed like Neil from The Young Ones at the festival.
