Keg at HzG Soho. It pours very light hazy pale gold with a thick, sturdy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, doughy white bread, cracker and grass. The taste is crisp, clean, bit grassy, straw, cracker, white bread and some dull peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and chuggable. Perfect with currywurst.

Bottle from City Shop, Frankfurt. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is straw, paper, dough, grainy and weak lime notes. The taste is crisp, bitter, doughy, grainy, paper, lime and mild sweetness with a dry finish. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Pretty basic pils. Meh.

Bottle in Munich. Color is pale gold with green shine, medium fluffy white head, disappearing. Aroma is grassy, cereals, herbal hops. Taste is malty, with a nice herbal freshness. Dry mouthfeel, quite bitter end. Very refreshing and easy to drink. One of the best pils I had, really enjoyable.

Sampled bottled @ Sternbräu (Austria). Clear golden, creamy white head. Nose is fluffy nice sweeter cereal. Taste is very good super drinkable clear pepper, crisp, dash of hop, citrus, crisp, fluffy, lovely, great drinking.

33cl bottle from the Beer52 box for October. A straw coloured pour with a billowing cream coloured head and high carbonation; fresh grassy aroma; much for flavour than the average pils - stuffed with grass and fresh herbs, giving a pungent, peppery taste and a light bitterness; before a mellower, creamy finish. Rather good.
