An orange beer with no head. The aroma is spicy combined with notes of lemon and alcohol. The flavor is sweet spicy combined with a powerful citric lemon note. The lemon makes it fresh, but the alcohol drags in a heavy direction - and the balance is not found nor is the winner declared. The end is dry lemony. I think a bit less alcohol would do it good.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy amber with a lightly creamy, off-white head. Sweetish, caramelish nose with a somewhat perfumy edge - perhaps some coriander? Very soft and smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, sweetish caramelish with some alcohol in the finish. 210506

Fluffy, large, snow-white head slowly retains to cover leaving heavy lacing in its wake. Unfiltered and bottle conditioned with plenty of sediment on the bottom.
Oily, musty, woody nose shows a fair bit of estery-perfume wrought with light alcohol. Some plant-like, wet-straw notes and a bit of powder from likely candi or sugar syrup additions. Dry though, at least in the nose, with plenty of cinnamon and white pepper like phenols, leading to a balanced if somewhat unclean nose.
Sugary, heavy pils malt and other adjunct-sugar additions are readily apparent at first, with lemon icing and more plant-like hops flavor. Fair amount of spiciness on the finish as well, helps to dry things out, but it has its work cut out for it. No harsh alcohol tones, however, and the carbonation is natural and helps break up the sweetness. Light apples, and some corn from high fermentation temps, but I find a unique house character in the yeast. Dry, clean alcohol warmth on the very end begins to numb the tongue. A little loose after all is said and done (and only 10 minutes of breathing). Aside from that, the yeast and resulting character remind me greatly of Unibroue.

Clear fizzy dark cherry color with a medium creamy pink head. Aroma of sweet raspberries and lots of sugar. Sweet raspberry flavor, very fizzy.

Bottle, Best before January 24th, 2011 Clear, reddish brown body. Enormously frothy, lightly brown head (air everywhere), which collapses quite swiftly. Somewhat alcoholic aroma of butter, yeast, caramel malts, banana, ... There are some hints of a sweet, sticky cherry liquor. Lightly bitter, moderately sweet initial flavour. Heavily bitter finish, which shows up quite lately. Turns out a little bit weak and also a little bit alcoholic. Strange combination as weakness and alcoholic seem to be 2 opposites, but this one really tastes like that. Can’t call it bad.
