On tap at il Punto. Pours black with a medium slightly tan head. Aroma is intense scotch, loads of peat. Medium body. Flavour is surprisingly dry, hardly any sweetness, loads of peat, some wood, some whisky. Too one dimensional and lacking some richness.

On tap at XI Comandamento Ferrara. Pours a very clear gold - strange start! European hops and quite herbal in Aroma. Light to medium body. Flavour is herbal, slightly dank European-tasting hops. A bit weird, this is definitely not a NEIPA, but quite decent.

On tap at Il Punto Bologna. Unclear pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, yeast and caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, spicy, light yeasty and caramel with notes of fruits and alcohol in the finish.

Bottled 330ml. -at Osteria dell'Orsa Bologna. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, fruity yeasty nose. Sweetish malty, fruity, light spicy and yeasty with bitterish finish.

On tap at il Punto. Pours a clear yellow with a medium head. Aroma is rich caramel but quite clean, a sweet but rather clean tripel. Medium to big body. Flavour is malty, sweet, noble hops, light bitterness. Lot of sweetness, and the candied fruit comes through with time. Finish is bittersweet, balanced. Very drinkable tripel, well done, light Christmas theme. Good job.
