Pale yellow, small white head. Bready, malty and sugary aroma. Alcoholic and metallic flavor over the malty base. Quite sugary palate. Rude and simple.

33cl bottle from Auchan. Amber colour with thick beige head. Toffee malt. Drying hop on finish. Not too strong tasting even given the 8.5% alcohol. Bit grainy in mouthfeel. Fine, just not very excitng 3.0/5. Re rate bottle at Firkin Alehouse. Clear orange brown colour. Malty tasty. It’s a decent amber Flanders ale. Some lager elements some Belgian ale but without the yeast. Tasty.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Vegetably malty nose (very lagerish). Flavour is hoppy and malty with vegetable notes. Sweet alcohol and notes of vanilla and weak pear saves the beer. Gets very pleasant when it’s been poured for a while and gotten a few degrees warmer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Biere de Flandre Blonde on 22 Jan 2025 at 17:11 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. (Bottle 75 cl) Lovely golden beer with a decent head. Starts clear and hazes the closer you reach the huge sediment at the bottom. Very full-bodied and quite potent without being alcoholic as such. Has the typical earthy, musty artinal touch often found in Bière de Gardes. 090602

Bottle. Strong hops aroma - lighter malt and cooked vegetables. Light yellow with large head - very effervescent for the style. Initially a sweet malt with tannins hitting full-force soon after. Nice full body. A very interesting beer - dry like a red wine but with nice malt characteristics.

Slightly hazy amber color, short off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some hops. Taste is quite bitter, bit fruity, some malt and grain. Alcohol is well hidden. However, nothing special about this one.
