Bottle, courtesy of the meadery. An unclear, almost murky, dark brown mead, still and headless. Strawberry, caramel, raspberry, hints of honey and some chili in the aroma. It's full bodied and smooth on the palate, with a very light maltiness. Strawberry, raspberry, caramel and some chili in the flavor, with a touch of honey. Lasting finish. Not sure if I like the strawberry here, but it's a fine drink anyway. 240907
