Description
Lagabière was born in November 2012. Brothers Sébastien and Francis Laganière opened the doors of their brewery in the heart of Old St. Jean, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Initially offering only one of their beers and a few beers, the inventory has grown rapidly, offering only locally brewed products. With a capacity of 20 beers in service, the offer is very diversified. Each recipe is original and brewed with extreme rigor. Today, after more than sixty original recipes created, Lagabière also offers a range of imported beers, quality alcohols and a homemade food menu, incorporating as much beer as possible.

Poured from the tap. Opaque dull golden orange with minimal white head. Mango and basil, juicy with a mild bitter finish. Surprisingly good.

It’s nice to be able to get beers from back home to celebrate holidays! Happy St-Jean! Lagabiere Ta Valeur Sure 3.7% Citra-mosaic dry-hopped sour Murky honey gold brings to mind hazies. Sour guava tropical aroma. Seltzer like effervescent carbonation. The initial flavor is tart and then sweet Citra followed by bitterness and a vegetal hop burn. Kind of over the top but fun, I prefer the better balanced Trois Mousquetaires Citra Sour.

No clear indication if this is Citra Mosaic... Smell-weak to medium, fruits, hops, citrus, burned sugar. Foam- fruits, sweetness, hops, mango, burned sugar then some more hops and bitterness. Head is medium-sized, white color. Appearance- somewhat nice can design, simple, but effective, also, I feel generous today so one extra point. Clear yellow color (initially), medium carbonation. Later cloudy with some sediment. Price - 7,11 euros for 0,44... too expensive. Taste- sweetness, then some fruits and then hit of hops and burned sugar. More hoppy, than sweet, bit grassy, citrusy. Ok hazy one, but for this price, not worth it, can get similar or better from local brews, however, it is bit different. A lot of sediment at the end.

O:7.25 V:3.893 G:5.425 C:3.885 G:10.625 T:31.078
