Very good, fine-yellow head over hazy orange-yellow beer. Very pungent citruspeel, toiletsoap-like aroma, like dishwash liquid with lemon - OK, but a lot nicer than that sounds. Taste is even more spicy, less lemony. Coriander? Almost certainly ginger. Citruspeel? Spicy palte, medium bodied, big spicy aftertaste, even more warming up. Interesting variation on tripel indeed, but not my idea, unfortunately. The nose is intriguing.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A hazy, pale golden beer with minimal, off-white head. Quite oily pour. Lovely fruity nose, sugary pale malts and a pleasant spice touch as well. Pale malts, sweetness, white sugar, spices and fruityness in the flavor. Some bitterness too, also in the finish. Sliglty oily mouthfeel, medium to full body, feeling quite dry. The aroma is the best part of this one, but it’s a quite nice beer anyhow. 091024

Cloudy, chunky golden color with a masive and fluffy white head that settles very slowly and leaves good lacing. Aroma of fresh bread dough and orange peel. Flavor has spice up from, probably cinnamon and nutmeg. Full body, lots of malt. But also a bit of a metallic finish. Decent enough, but strange ending.

Bottle, as Santa Bee, from trade with jbrus. It gushed out of the bottles, leaving lots of floaties in the dark orange-brown body. Diminishing off-white to beige head. There’s some milky sourness in the aroma, a nice spice addition, almost glühwein-like, with caramel in the back. Honey-sweet flavor with chrismas spices and some caramel. Some bitterness in the finish, but mostly spices. Medium to full body. A quite nice beer, but a bit hard to understand. 091016
