Bottle. Inviting aroma of clean pilsner malts, honey, lots of grassy hops, and some farmyard hay. Light yeastiness, light spice character without added spices. Clear gold witha tall, fine head. Fruity, hoppy, slightly alcoholic flavor. Nice citrus hop flavors, fruity but not very sweet; very dry, actually, with a well bitter finish and lingering long. Wow! a pleasant surprise. like a very well-hopped tripel with a farmhouse touch. Nice honey flavor as well, without the sweetness. rich, full body. Great.

330 ml bottle. Aroma of honey, dust, grass. Dusty flavor of caramel, raisins, honey. Very dry finish. Actually very dry from start to finish, with alcohol well hidden. Expected it to be sweet, but it was very nice and clean.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, as Santa-Bee at Oud Arsenaal) The beer poured dark brown and almost clear. Its head was medium sized, long lasting and lightly brown shaded white. Aroma had cloves, malts and yeast. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were clove, spices, hops, malts, yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste was dry and malty. Ok beer but bit too spicy and also boring.

Nice fruity aroma of apples, lemon, honey, bready, biscuity malts, also coriander, orangel deep golden yellow, heading towards copper, with a tall, fluffy head. Malty flavor, fruity, with apples and abit of orange, lots of bread, some honey. Dry, slightly bitter finish works well, and the bitterness lasts a while, as does a cracker-like malt, with some minerals. Decent, balanced tripel, though there is something minerally i there i cannot name that is interesting and weird.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at De Heeren van Liedekercke) I had this beer with food that was prepared with the same beer. This dark brown beer was quite complex. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness, hops, chocolate and malts. Palate was full bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, aniseed, spiciness, fruitiness, hops, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste had aniseed and malts. Rarely have I had beer with so many flavours that still match. I enjoyed drinking this.

Draft at Churchkey, as Santa Bee. Dark reddish brown with tiny edge head. Aroma resembles a Rodenbach. Taste is like a dry hopped Rodenbach Alexander. Very nice stuff.

Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet, BBE 2009)
Muddy brown color, mostly vanishing head. Caramel, raisins and wort in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, raisins, light sour note, yeast. Thin vinegardish finish. Like strong Finnish kalja. Probably already few years old bottle.

Hazy orange beer with a tiny white head. Soft dry palate. Very sweet - imagine a lot of people will hate this. Flavour is very mush like the sweets from my childhood - Fruit Salad chews! Finishes semi dry. Impossible not to like, for me anyway!

Bottle, Antwerp Oude Arsenaal with dad Feb 2010. Another one that is unticked in my notebook that I’ve forgotten to add. Pours hazy dark brown with an off-white head. There is a hint of cherry or other sour fruit in here, soft in mouth, bit tangy with a tinge of bitterness. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
