t Gaverhopke was founded in 1994 by Erik Ameye and his wife Christiane Soens. Erik brewed for 13 years in his brewery, the twelve was his favourite beer… October 1st 2007, Gudrun Vandoorne en Bruno Delrue took over the brewery.

Bottle@yesprs - Brown pour with off-white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, some dark dried fruits, caramel, syrup, vague whisky infused wooden notes, some spice in the finish. Not bad.

cloudy brown, small white head. aroma is malty, somewhat whiskey boozy, also sweetness from booze. flavor is boozy, caramelly, malty, malty sweetness from whiskey. not much bitterness from whiskey.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight earthy. Toasted and caramelish. Bitter, slight herbal and dry bitter. Dry and toasted malty into the finish. Dry and toasted finish.

Bottled. A murky golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons and straw. The aroma has notes of lemons, malt, and straw, leading to a tart finish.
