16/07/2015 - 33cl bottle @ Noorman Anzegem. Cloudy orange, medium white head. Aroma : fruity hops, sweet. Taste : Fruity hops, pineapple, sweetness, dry bitter ending.

Bottle at ash’s. Pours hazy yellow orange, nose is caramel, sugary, taste is dry, caramel, sweet, fruity.

Bottle thanks to jeevan. Appearance - deep orange and cloudy. Nice head. Nose - sourdough. Good orange and pineapple. Taste - big tangy oranges and a yeasty backdrop. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - not bad at all.

Bottle at Ashton McCobb’s. Gusher! Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Aromas of bread, light orange, yeast. Taste is sourdough, sweet finish.

Last wee tasting of the summer

Huge yellow head over fully hazy orange beer, well-carbonated. "Hot" and lightly coloured mlats, faintly sourish and sweet. Bit aromatic, as in some fruitsweets. Bitterish-sourish taste. Tastes wild, bacterial. Fleeting honey flavour. Light body, quite slick, feels overcarbonated. Hmm. I fear infection. Again, despite the move. Txs to M. & L. V.!

Hazy orange with thin, lasting head. A little bready and yeasty. Fairly thin bodied. Not very flavoursome.

Bottle at University Club. Mansfield Road, Oxford, Friday 7th August. A lively pour, looks marvellous, warm gold with a white sticky head, Loz gets almond, she’s right it is a little nutty. It’s so soft it’s like drinking a pillow (I’ve had quite a few today so I can be excused the daft descriptions) anyway it is quite enjoyable. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

New Gaverhopke beer, with thick, frothy, thickly cobweb-lacing, egg-white head captured after strong gushing; hazy ’old gold’ colour with a ’soup’ of yeast floating everywhere, becoming almost opaque with deposit. Estery and yeasty aroma of peach, pineapple, bubblegum, banana, earth, cooked beans, white pepper, fried egg, bitter herbs, toasted bread and some faint burnt rubber. Fruity, rounded onset, pineapple, peach and green apple peel, lightly oily mouthfeel, spicy yeastiness, bready and smooth, with very yeasty and malty finish further adorned with a light resiny, earthy, peppery hop bitterness, a bit vegetable-like as well in the end. Acceptable apart from the gushing but I don’t see the point in this beer, it is just another Belgian blonde like there are countless ones around already.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt .The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and fruits, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

cloudy brown, small offwhite head. nutty and malty aroma, quite nice. flavor is malty, nutty, boozy, quite well rounded, but rather strong.
