Brouwerij Slaapmutske owns 1 brewery:
Description
Dany De Smet, a brewery engineer, and his wife Dany De Smet, a brewery engineer, started brewing beer "in the kitchen" in very small quantities (about 50 liters per brew). In 1999 the couple decided to start a beerfirm so in 2000 Slaapmutske was founded. In order to meet the ever-increasing demand, we decide to work together with the Proefbrouwerij in Lochristi to brew the beer there under license.

Malty, fruity taste with orange, apricots and slightly spicy hops in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Very tasty and nice.

Bought at the Beer Tempel in Brussels. I figured that with too many beers on their shelves to try I should pick the most obscure stuff, and Christmas ales seemed to fit the bill! Excellent head, dark amber colour. Aroma of barley and malts, but just hinting. Flavour is spicy barley, some caramel, alcohol. Okay palate, okay seasonal beer.

Small bottle with a crown seal. Dark orange with a thick cream head. Low bead, some sediment. Smells of oranges, sweaty cheese rinds, caramel and cloves. Taste has moderately sweet and rather firm caramel with cloves, pears and apples. Dryish finish with some coriander and white pepper as well as cloves. A fair Tripel.
