Tap at beer bistro. Clear yellow pour, small white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, but very pine forward. Big notes of resin with alot of grass and subtle citrus rind. Body and Mouth feel are right in. Finish is quite bitter, and big on pine. As it warms some sweetness rears it’s head with some catty aromas and flavours from what I can assume is an abundance of centennial hops. Decent.....

Incredibly boozy, lots of wet paper notes, and astringent cereals, with dry bitter fruit. Boozy warming finish, wet paper, apples and burnt brown sugar. What a mess.

Loads of intense dark roast. Coffee, soy, bitter chocolate, and alot of earthy red wine barrel and red wine tannins. Silky, creamy mouthfeel, and a soft carb. The finish has a medium bitterness, with a slightly tangy, vinous red wine notes and some vanilla and hints of alcohol.

500ml bottle from the lcbo. Black pour, small beige head. Roasty, and grassy with a very light mouth feel, and light, slightly watery carb. Roasty finish, hints of coffee, and light hops. Very light stout, very sessionable, but light, and underwhelming.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Aroma is Bretty with malt, caramel, barrel notes and tart red fruits. Flavour is mild sour with a touch of sweetness and a fairly dry finish. Body is medium. Nice Bretty Flanders Red-ish beer.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Aroma is firm Sorachi Ace bubblegum, malt, grass, Sorachi hops, touch of wild yeast, and light herbal tea. Flavour is medium bitter. Body is medium. Fair, but a bit too heavy on the bubblegum for my taste.

Can: Poured a slightly hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a medium white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some floral hops undertones and light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some light malt notes with some tropical flavours and a semi-sweet finale. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA but more flavours could have been extracted from the hops.
