Black beer, thick, light brown bubbly head.Aroma is toasty malt and light chocolate. Flavour is a big roasted malt hit, chocolate, molasses, dried fruit. The earthiness of the malt and molasses linger as you drink through this big, rich beast of a stout. Wonderful stuff.

Black beer, thick off white head. Aroma is malt, chocolate, toffee. taste has the same feel, with dried fruit, coffee and liquorice. Rich, smooth and a malty chocolate aftertaste this is some really good stuff.

Clear dark red beer, smells of dried fruit and malt. Taste is the same with some real toastiness to the malt, apple and toffee. Rich and tasty.

Bottle. (thanks Nisse666) Black with a small tan head. Sweetish with roasted malt, some earth, coffee and dark fruit. Kind of smooth and with a medium body.

Bottle. Nose is rich chocolate, dark fruit, lots of blackberry, plum. Taste follows, milk chocolate, fruit, plums, prunes,raisin, leading to a more bitter, dark chocolate, slightly sour finish. As it opens more ash, earth and toast notes become apparent. It's an excellent chocolate stout, with a lot going on.

330ml bottle. Pours deep amber with a creamy beige head, good retention. Aroma of sweet malts, loads of caramel, dried fruit. Taste of sweet malts, caramel, toffee, some dried fruits, mild floral hop bitterness, earthy. Medium-ish body, soft carbonation. Not bad actually but this trad English IPA just doesn't suit my tastes.

Bottle, picked up at the brewery, about three months ago. Clear, reddy amber. Glossy, beige head, that fully covers the beer. Lasting, with some lacing. Nose has bready, toasty malts. Caramel. Some berry fruits. Some cake fruits. Some eating apple. Taste is caramel sweet. Some vine fruit bitterness. Medium body. Gets a bit dry. Foamy carbonation. Bitter apple and vine fruit to finish.

330ml bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours pitch black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, earthiness, hints of chocolate and syrup. Taste is roasty and chocolatey with massive amounts of malts, some earthiness, toffee and syrup. Finish is slightly sweetish and roasty with loads of malts, hints of medicine, toffee, earthiness, syrup and English hops. Quite English imperial stout.
