Description
Redemption is one of the pioneering founders of London’s craft beer movement and was the first brewery in Tottenham, North London in almost 100 years. We started back in 2010 and are still brewing the kind of beers you'll love drinking with your mates at the pub today.

We are 100% independently owned and brew beers brimming with flavour and complexity, the kind of pint you'll find yourself returning to time and time again. Your new favourite.

(Cask at Leili Pub, 20230518) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had earth, malts and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were earth, toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A tasty malty brew with strong hop notes.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big malt and hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth malty, light pepper spice, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Cask at JDW Crosse Keys, London (31/03/2023) - JDW Spring Beer Fest 2023 (29 of 30) - medium toasted and sweet biscuity malts, caramel, toffee, some citrus fruity undertones of grapefruit, marmalade shred, light to medium body, bitter hoppy, dry and sweet malty close. Alright.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] An amber pour with a thin white head; light caramel aroma; crisp and sharply bitter from the start with some citrus and toffee; then a drying finish. Missing the creaminess I associate with steam beers.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Superb condition yet again, this Spoons has got their cellaring spot on at the moment. Copper coloured with an off-white head. Digestive biscuit with a bit of spiced orange. Moderately bitter finish; the bitterness is maybe a tad heavy for the lightish flavours. Ok I guess.

Cask at Lime Kiln, Liverpool. Pours a bright copper with medium sized off-white head and good lacing. The aroma malts and marmalade with some hoppy hints. In the mouth it has biscuits, caramel and malt, along with some traditional hops. Finish is slightly bitter. Can’t say much more really as I was served an unexpectedly (very) hot curry at the same time ! Needs a rerate.
