Tap at La Mes Petita. Black with beige head. Very roasty, licorice, black olives, resinous hops. Medium bitter and light sweet. Medium bodied. Might be because itβs so early but this is not really my thing.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Mitch. Pours deep brown with a frothy, beige head. The nose has some ashy roast, cocoa, burnt pine, minerals. Light sweet flavour with hard, bitter baking cocoa, sturdy roast, flinty minerals. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Drying finish with more ashy roast, burnt pine, minerals, bitter cocoa. Not bad. Pretty hard-edged.
