Description
Founded on July 1st 2016, Brouwerij De Feniks is all about Living your Passion (in our case : brewing the great beers we love and helping others do to the same) and keep doing what you love no matter what. As you only live once, you will find out at some point that it pays off on emotional/satisfaction and many other levels to follow your passion. Under adversity, if you stumble and fall, or even crash and burn, remember that you can Always rise from your ashes like the mythical Feniks bird as long as you keep believing and continue to live that passion... And if you do, have a great beer on us !

Golden colour with lasting fluffy head. It's a grainy and full flavoured beer with a nice dry finish.

Thanks H for sharing with O and me! Murky dark orange body, thick white head. Heavy alcohol in the aroma, with some soft fruity, estery notes underneath, nice. Soft taste, light tangerine, some light yeastiness, bit herbal near the finish. Nothing more to it, but it's pleasant and well balanced.

Golden colour with light haze and lasting creamy head. Aroma is full on sweet, overripe strawberries, later the cardamom starts to come through. Initial taste has lots of cardamom. Malt sweetness too. Great smooth mouthfeel. Very light smoke in the finish.

Beer tasting & B2B event hosted by Belgian Embassy in Croatia, thanks for the invite. Thanks to the kind people from Padel for the tasting samples. Unclear golden, medium head. Lightly phenolic, light ripe apple aroma, some alcohol, light grainy background. Light, not too bitter, less character in the flavour than in the aroma. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate finish.

Pours fairly clear, lemon like yellow . small white head. Scent is mild, funky, sweaty. Taste is a sharp, tart, dry citric. Some (young) wood. Med. Not special, nor very lambic like.

Bottle sample during Gents Bierfestival '21 - shared with Tderoeck.
