A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness, perry, orange, some spicyness, and you can feel the strenght. Taste has fruitness, spicyness, hint of earthyness. Strenghtness, almost boozy but luckily not. Medium bodied. Strong, quite balanced and good beer.

Huge foamy off white head stayed on an unclear light amber coloured still body. Spices, pepper & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, highly carbonated over the tongue with dry clean back. Yeast, herbaceous, vegetal, spies, chalk g earthy tastes with a long bitter finish. Reminds me of Alvinne beers.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox, Antwerp. Black pour with a beige head. Raisin, cola, fruitcake, chocolate nose. Nice aromas. Taste is chocolate raisin, currants, caramel, cola, dark fruit. Smooth and satisfying. Rather like myself spookily enough..

Lively pour initially with a big frothy head, settles down to still have a good collar on it. Richy malty aroma. Flavour has toasty malt, some dark chocolate, dried fruit, a bit of toffee and there's a bit of a warm, boozy hit too. Pretty rich feel to it. Not as much depth of flavour as I'd like from this strength but it is nice.

Faintly malty on the nose, pours a deep brown with a foamy off-white head - more malt in the taste, with hints of chocolate in the predominating toffee/caramel flavours

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, mahogany colour with ruby glimmer and small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Toasty and caramel malty as well as spicy aroma, hints of aniseed, a touch of cardamom. Taste is slightly dry, toasty malty and spicy, hints of aniseed, some chili, a touch of cardamom. This is a heavy spiced dark beer, but not a heavily spiced dark beer. OK.

330ml bottle in Bierbrasserie Cambrinus, Brugge on 3rd Feb 2020. Black bodied, deep tanned topping. Malty molasses ruled both the aroma and taste, coffee and chocolate flavours flavour wise, boozy and interesting.

330ml bottle in Bierbrasserie Cambrinus, Brugge on 3rd Feb 2020. Full white crown on a golden body, looked good. The nose was grainy, yeasty and slightly spicy, taste followed the same lines but with a hop bitterness in the background giving balance to the grainy base.

Licht troebel lichtgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet ietwat kruidig met iets van abrikoos en vanille. Gewoon een echt goeie tripel !
