0.5 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before January 2026. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-floral aroma of grains, honey and some lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, some honey and a touch of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasantly hoppy Bock, very well-balanced, quite good for the style.

Rather thin body, med carbo. Med-light bitterness, med-light sweetness. A bit minerally, hint of sulfury even. But overall feels clean. Med-light honeyish toasted maltiness. Med-lightflowery grassy hops character. Works really well, easy drinking.

0.5l fliptop courtesy of Knjaz who got it from Doris herself, huge thanks! Shared with Hrabren & Ogi in ZG. Lightly hazy golden body, off-white head. Huge aroma, bready-grainy, cleanly yeasty, lightly herbal. Lean, dry, bitterish taste, bready, bit yolky, lightly prickly, the herbal, vaguely citric hop profile didn't thrill me too much, but it grew on me quickly. Actually, slightly Czechoid vaguely, in a good way. Very likable!

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der ilm and consumed at home Sunday 26th January 2025 listening to Fabio & Grooverider from last night on playback 6Music, we're cooking Moussaka and have made Lemon Curd Ice Cream Balls which we plan to coat in chocolate. Pours warm gold almost clear there is a little bit of haze. Nice drinking, soft mouthfeel, nice bite, a little rustic bittersweet edge. Good.
