Bottled at Ottawa gathering. Cloudy deep golden, mid sized head. Dank lychee and grapefruit aroma. Dryish with solid body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Pink grapefruit and lychee dominates. Crisp bready malt. Really bitter finish. The crisp dryness makes it super drinkable. Edgeless, hoppy and absolutely beautiful. One of the best IPAs anywhere.

Bottle: Poured a bright amber/orangey color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fruity hops with caramelized malt is quite enticing. Taste is a good mix of caramelized malt with light toffee notes with balanced residual sugar notes which offset the fruitiness of the hops. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation and no real apparent alcohol notes. I usually am not a big fan of hoppy barleywine but this example is a perfect mix between some fruity hops with some great balance and drinkability.

Bottle: Poured a deep copper color ale with a nice brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt and toffee notes with some rye whisky notes is quite enticing. Taste is a great mix between some caramelized malt notes, toffee, dates with some rye whisky notes and light woody notes are also apparent. Body is full with good carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Another superb rendition of their scotch ale which retains some drinkability with lots of depth and complexities.
