Bottle. Gentle apple aroma and flavor, with a grassy hint. Too gentle all the way, but flawless..646411 251004

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Trondhjem Matfestival. Dry, medium bodied and clean. Perhaps a bit too clean, almost making it a bit dull. Should work well as aperitif though. 646414 250801

Fancy glass bottle courtesy of Gunfryd. Murky orange golden body without any head. Aroma is well matured apple, cellar notes, wood, honey and a bit boozy. Flavor is kinda sweet, ripe, close to over ripe apple, apple core, wood, alcohol and sherry. The sherry is actually making some kind of unbalance to the appele flavor imo. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste with a boozy Sherry finish. Not entirely successful by me.

Bottle. Red body with a small white head. I have no reason to contest that there is used real raspberries here, but somehow I feel that both aroma and flavor is dominated by artificial raspberry drops. Its both acidic and sweet at the same time and I can't hardy find apples here at all. Just too much raspberries for my liking. I suppose I just miss the sweet tooth for candy flavor.

Fancy glass bottle courtesy of Gunfryd. Crystal clear golden body with no head and almost oily consistent body. Makes a nice swirl in the glass like maelstrom. Intense aroma of sweet, noble, apple, cellar notes, ripe apple and mild, warming alcohol. Flavor is super sweet, concentrated apple but makes some kind of balance with acidity. Moderate cellar notes, some apple core and almost cheery vinous alcohol. Full bodied and never ending aftertaste. Quire amazing, at least for sipping, might be a bit too much all over after a while bit for a small sample glass this is amazing stuff, and as I believe that's the intention with this cider so my rating with be based as a sipper. But the aroma was absolutly the highlight for me, could easliy sit there for quite a while just sniffing.

God looking bottle from Vinmonopolet. Clear golden body with a nice, small but dense head. Aroma has distinct mature apple, apple core and hint of fruit in general. Flavor is much like aroma, lots of mature apple and apple core, quite sweet, moderate acidity. Soft and smooth, quite close to pure apple juice or squeezed apple, not much sigh of alcohol and I miss some complexity. Sure a nice apple flavor and fine body, smooth, sweet apple, but compared with a few french one I had after this I had to adjust the score a bit down for the lack of depth and complexity in addition to the nice apple flavor.
