Tap at Borefts. Hazy yellow golden. Malts and oats, massive green weedy hops, gooseberries, yeast. Quite bitter, medium sweet. Medium bodied, quite dry, massive hop burn. Weird and hurts my mouth.

Poured from 330mL bottle (10.5% abv listed; pkg 2022-08-04). Hazed dark brown with small beige head. Gentle sweet roast malt, feint booze, hops have disappeared, some mild dark fruit notes that give it just a hint of tartness. A bit simplistic, okay.

Now known only as the Koele Kikker. It was originally brewed with the owner of Pardoen. 330ml bottle at Pardoen. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is toffee caramel, light fruity hops. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, toffee, earthy, hop bitter palate and a lingering floral hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Pale blond colour with lasting fluffy head. Aroma and flavour primarily with citrus and floral hop notes. Light bodied, high carbonation.

Bottle. Color: Murky amber, very thin off-white head. Aroma: Floral hop, citrus. Taste: Floral and grassy hop. Caramel malt backbone. Nice, dry and zesty, hopbitterness. Orange and grapefruit peel. Over medium bitter, moderate sweet. Unfortunately very low carbonation. Otherwise very nice.
